Abstract submissions can only be done via the online system available on congress web page. Papers will be peer reviewed.

Rules of Abstract

  1. Papers can be submitted as Poster or Oral Presentations.
  2. The authors who will do the presentations are obliged to register for participation.
  3. Abstracts should include The Objective, Methods, Results and Conclusion of the study. These titles should be written in bold inside the abstract.
  4. Abstracts can be submitted in English or Turkish.
  5. Allocated space for the abstract submission is limited by 250 words.
  6. The abstracts submitted will be subject to peer review.
  7. The accepted papers will be published in the congress book. The extended abstracts or full texts of accepted papers will be published in the congress book as they are emailed to koray.bapir@devent.com.tr.
  8. Full texts of papers selected by the Scientific Committee will be published in the supplementary issue of the Turkish Journal of Sports Medicine.
  9. The typeface and font size of the abstracts have been standardized by the system as Times New Roman and 12 points.
  10. Standard abbreviations are accepted. If there are any special abbreviations, the full form should be written in parenthesis after the first use of the abbreviation in the text.
  11. Abstracts should include the full names and institutions of all the authors and the person who will deliver the presentation.
  12. Since the Congress registrations are made for only one person, it does not include the co-authors of the abstract
  13. In the title of the abstract, except for the lowercase letters with a specific use like “pH” or “NaCl”, all words must be written in uppercase.
  14. The first letters of the drug names should begin with an uppercase letter when they are proper nouns. General (generic) names of drugs are preferred to be used and the first letters of generic names are not written in uppercase.
  15. Deadline of the abstract submission is February 28, 2019.
